Since it's inception, BAY CITIES PYROTECTOR has provided innovative fire protection and life safety services with a consistent focus on customer satisfaction.

Lloyd Ernst, with over three decades experience in the fire protection industry, founded BAY CITIES PYROTECTOR in January 1996.  Today we are proud to have twenty trained and experienced staff members. We have enjoyed a sustained growth becoming a dynamic multimillion dollar service company.

Over the years, we have expanded our services to provide the following:

• A Systems Department that is licensed by the Contractors State License Board (C10 & C16) and is UL Alarm Certified.  Specializing in the installation and service of fire alarms, sprinklers, standpipe and hose stations, restaurant hood systems, clean agent systems, foam systems, CO2 systems, and fire pumps.

• A full service Department Of Transportation (DOT) certified shop, providing businesses and fire protection companies with: High-pressure cylinder testing, bulk CO2 filling, HALON 1301, FM200, HALOTRON, HALON 1211 and Clean Guard service and recycling, hose testing and re-coupling, restaurant hood system testing and service, and SCBA/SCUBA cylinder testing.
• We provide HALON 1301 and FM 200 cylinder recharging and valve rebuilding at our shop or directly on your site.  Our on site services are available throughout California, Oregon and Nevada.
  

BAY CITIES PYROTECTOR is the only full service fire protection company in the San Francisco Bay Area providing web-based inspection reports available at our website. This is a complimentary service to all our clients. There are numerous advantages to this reporting system:

• Access to inspection reports on the Web within 24 hours of all inspections.

• Off-site access to reports via the internet, from any internet connection.

• Unlimited user access for designated management personnel, property management companies, insurance and fire inspectors.

• Paper inspection reports can get misplaced or destroyed, however, our clients can simply and immediately retrieve their reports on-line. The reports are available online for 5 years.
